8 Snacks to Help You Through Exam Week
It is very important to eat during final exam week. Eating regular meals and snacks will help keep your energy level up, while you are preparing for exams. This will also help with your concentration during exam times. To keep your metabolism up and to avoid feeling hungry during long study hours, it is best to consume 5-6 small meals each day. There are many snacks out there that are healthy as well as easy to grab and put in your book bag, before heading off to the library. I have a list of some of my favorite snacks below. I decided to post this after one of my followers, fate8181, asked for advice on snacks for finals week.
1.) Fresh Fruit
This is a tasty and affordable snack to consume. Fresh fruit can help you feel full longer than most processed snacks can.
2.) Rice Cakes
Many flavors are offered in grocery stores. Some flavors are for salty cravings, while others are for people with a sweet tooth.
3.) Greek Yogurt
My favorite brand of yogurt is Chobani because it is all natural, cheap and tastes great. This brand offers many different fruit flavors.
Peanuts, almonds, walnuts and others are convenient items to take on the go. Nuts are an excellent source of protein and fiber.
5.) Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Toast
This snack helps increase metabolism. If you like bananas, then try adding banana slices on top.
There are countless recipes available online for smoothies. You can pretty much put whatever fruits or vegetables you like in the blender and press the blend button. Then just pour it in your travel mug and take it with you.
7.) Vegetable Sticks
Celery and carrot sticks are easy to pack to take to campus to eat while studying.
So many flavors and brands exist. Crackers are a great alternative to chips.
Smoothies are a great snack to make and take with you on the go!
